Lucas-Signatone Corp (Signatone) is pleased to announce the creation of the PurePulse ESD Division. Signatone has worked closely with Grund Technical Solutions (GTS) for many years. Together, we have advanced 2-pin technology in ESD testing of package devices and wafer level circuits with Signatone probing equipment and GTS PurePulse ESD testing modules with Maestro software. At the end of 2024, with the GTS founder, Evan Grund retiring, Lucas-Signatone purchased GTS in its entirety. All GTS products, services and personnel are now the PurePulse ESD Division of Lucas Signatone.

“We have been the hands that manufactured GTS equipment since 2016 and have enjoyed this close GTS-Signatone relationship. Now as one company, we look forward to growing the capability and product line focused on ESD technology” said Brian Dickson, VP Engineering of Lucas Signatone.  Justin Katz is the director of operations of the new division. “Even though Evan Grund has retired, he continues to be a valuable resource of advice and experience." Justin remarked. “Working with Signatone’s engineering team and staff will be a big help in getting products developed more efficiently.”

The PurePulse ESD division will continue to be the leader in 2-pin testing of 300mm wafers. In the immediate future, new offerings in 2-pin package device testing and advances in VF-TLP will be introduced.  We look forward to working with customers and the ESD society to advance ESD testing technology.
